Welcome to Fit for a Purpose


My name is Jo and I created Fit for a Purpose to help support busy women over 30 lose weight, get fit and focus on looking after themselves, so they are fit for whatever life throws at them.


A bit about me

I worked for a global tech firm for over 25yrs. and I know what it is like to work long hours under serious pressure year in year out. Finding time for yourself on top of all the other day to day expectations and obligations is tough but it is vital for your health (physical and mental).

Luckily, I was a sporty teenager and have stayed active throughout my adult life despite injuries and other life events. As I've entered my 50's, the benefits I've reaped from the habit of staying active have become more apparent, but I know not everyone has kept active or is as comfortable as me working out, so I wanted to try and do something to help women who were struggling to exercise and lose weight over forty.


That’s why, I offer a truly personalised approach to fitness and nutrition, tailored to meet each woman exactly where she is in her fitness journey in my Get Fit For A Purpose Programme.
